Quietflex® Launches HPDFlex™, a Formaldehyde-Free Flexible Duct
for Commercial Installations

HOUSTON, October 5, 2009 – Quietflex® is introducing HPDFlex™, a formaldehyde-free flexible duct designed to meet the broad static pressure demands of commercial applications.

The new HPDFlex duct will achieve a negative static pressure rating of -2-inch w.c. and a positive static pressure rating of +16-inch w.c. Quietflex® Ductwork Earns GREENGUARD Certification

HOUSTON, March 25, 2009 – All Quietflex® brand flexible ductwork is now GREENGUARD Certified – an industry-independent certification designed to improve indoor air quality, the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI) announced today.

The certification is significant for the Quietflex brand, which uses formaldehyde-free insulation in all its flex duct products, explains Ardee Toppe, Quietflex President. As part of the GREENGUARD Certification SM Program, Quietflex flexible ductwork must meet stringent standards for low chemical emissions, with regular and rigorous testing and verification.
